Saint Camillus Men's Retreats is located in Staten Island, NY.
The retreat is open to men recovering from addiction through a
12 Step Program.
Mount Manresa Jesuit Retreat House takes its name from the place
St.
Ignatius Loyola made his first retreat. At Mount Manresa on
Staten Island, one can see clearly, stroll a rustic landscape,
and pray in the
 warmth of a traditional chapel. Look within to
see the direction life has taken; face the choices of the future
in a beautiful setting. Meet your God on the holy ground of your
own heart and soul.
The professional retreat house staff helps you on your inner
journey. Warm-hearted and well-trained listeners, they welcome
people struggling with spiritual questions. They bring with them
their own experiences and the Jesuit tradition of spiritual
wisdom and they offer acceptance, encouragement, flexibility,
practicality, and plenty of good humor.
The 75 private rooms are reserved and assigned on a first-come,
first-served basis. Hearty food savored in an airy dining room
complements the spiritual nourishment. To reserve a place, mail
us a reservation with a $50 deposit. Because of space
limitations, please reserve as soon as possible. If you must
cancel, early cancellations help those on the waiting list.
Mount Manresa wants always to be available when people need it
most. All are welcome, even if an individual cannot give the
full-suggested donation. To this end, we depend on the
generosity of others to help those less financially blessed.
